According to an unidentified Afghan government official, five cabinet ministers and one of Afghan Transitional Administration Chairman Hamid Karzai's deputies are to be replaced with younger and more erudite people, IRNA reported on 14 May.
The changes are intended to satisfy the demands of the Afghan people, who have begun to voice their displeasure with the pace of reforms and reconstruction in their country, according to IRNA.
